1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WhatSEO.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WhatSEO.ai is an AI-powered SEO analysis platform that audits websites across multiple criteria and provides scored reports with prioritized recommendations. The Service includes free homepage scans and paid comprehensive audits.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Audit Credits and Payments

• Audit credits are consumed when an audit is initiated. A credit is considered "used" once the audit run begins, regardless of how the resulting report is reviewed.
• If an audit fails to complete due to a technical issue on our end, the credit is reissued automatically — no refund request needed.
• Pack-of-12 credits expire 12 months after purchase. We email a reminder 30 days before expiration.
• Standard and Pro single-audit credits do not expire — they remain on your account until used.

5. Refund and Satisfaction Policy

Your satisfaction is guaranteed.If your audit fails, doesn't deliver, or genuinely doesn't meet what we promised, we'll make it right — typically by re-running the audit, adding manual review, or in clear-failure cases issuing a cash refund. We don't process unconditional refunds on completed audits or unused credits because (a) audit compute and AI processing are billed by upstream providers the moment the audit runs, and (b) credits don't expire on Standard or Pro and have a 12-month window on Pack of 12, so unused credits remain usable on your account.

• Failed audit: If an audit you initiate fails to complete due to a technical issue on our end, we automatically reissue the credit so you can retry. If you'd prefer a cash refund instead of a reissued credit, email us within 30 days of the failure and we'll process it to the original payment method.
• Audit doesn't meet expectations: Email us within 14 days of the audit run with the specifics — what was missing, what felt wrong, what you expected. We'll re-run the audit at no charge, add a manual analyst pass, or, in clear cases where we genuinely under-delivered, issue a cash refund. We resolve every report this way; cash is one of several remedies, not the default.
• Completed audit, no specific complaint: Not eligible for an unconditional cash refund. The compute, data ingestion, and AI processing have been billed by our providers and can't be reversed. See the previous bullet if there's a specific issue.
• Unused credits: Credits sit on your account until you use them. Standard and Pro credits never expire. Pack of 12 expires 12 months after purchase, with a reminder email 30 days before. There is no time-bounded refund window because there is no scenario in which a purchaser is "stuck" with credits they cannot use.
• How to request: Email hello@whatseo.ai with your order ID and what happened. We respond within one business day. Eligible refunds process to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
• Stripe processing fees: Stripe's payment-processing fee (~2.9% + $0.30) is non-refundable per Stripe policy and outside our control.

6. Acceptable Use

You may only audit websites that you own or have permission to analyze. You agree not to use the Service to: scan websites without authorization, attempt to overwhelm target servers, reverse-engineer our analysis algorithms, or redistribute audit reports for commercial resale.

7. Google API Integration

When you connect your Google account, you authorize us to access your Google Search Console and Google Analytics data in read-only mode. You can revoke this access at any time. Our use of Google data is governed by our Privacy Policy and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

Audit reports generated for you are yours to use as you see fit. The WhatSEO.ai platform, algorithms, and branding remain our intellectual property.

9. Limitation of Liability

SEO audit results are recommendations based on automated analysis and publicly available best practices. We do not guarantee specific search ranking improvements. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at hello@whatseo.ai.
